Default Water system back-flow contamination

Does anybody have a good picture of the proper installation of a discharge line for a water systems back-flow (cleaning cycle) to the waste line I can "borrow"?

Thanks,

Are you referring to a water softener system?

Treat it as any other potential cross contamination point.

Specify the need for an air gap.

Yes to both above, but i am looking for a picture I can add to my report of a proper installation, I already have on of the wrong way. I have one filed away, but don't have time to locate it.

You know, a picture says a thousand words.

Here is one of a 'field engineered' installation and another of an air gap device that is designed for such an application. Both are courtesy of Brian Kelly if memory serves me correctly.
