Default Well pressure tank location

Looking for info on proper placement of well pressure tanks. Apparently when the owner had new tank installed he moved the location of the tank into the utility room in front of the furnace. There is a crawlspace under the home. I will post picture.

I don't see a pressure tank. I see a water softener but the pic is pretty small.

I don't have a problem with different locations for the PT. Normally it is located nearest the entry point from the well line.
