Default Age of a Vaughn manufactured water heater
Is anyone familiar with Vaughn manufactured water heaters? I am looking for the age of a heater with serial #098600840.

I can't seem to locate any information on Vaughn Water heaters.

Simply email them and ask if they can email you a reference manual for manufacturing dates and post it here if you can obtain the info.

I believe there is nothing special about Vaughn and that you have a September 1986 model. I could be wrong.

You are correct. I contacted the manufacturer. It was manufactured in 1986. Thanks for the help.
