Default aav--exactly straight up and down?

I understand that an AAV (Studer) must be installed verticlaly, but how far off from vertical can it be? I have one that leans about 10-15 degrees from vertical. Seems to work just fine. Is this really a concern, or am I just getting carried away?

Maximum offset is 15 degrees. Email me if you need further documentation.

What's an AAV?

Maybe I haven't had enough coffee this morning.
