I'm curious as to the air admittance valve location. Please see drawing on attached word file. Is one AAV in this application OK?
I'd locate it in the sink vanity. Or - I may choose the 2nd option as we may want to go to a pedistal sink. I understand the 2nd option would require a vent grate. Thank you |

Since the approval of AAV for some applications people don't believe in using vent stacks. You need to look at some sort of reference on plumbing. Find a book (a DIY) and you'll see what I mean. If you still don't understand let me know.

That drawing appears to show the AAV being located inside a wall. It's my understanding that it must be located in the living space.
