Default Champion Water Heaters

Anyone have age information on Champion water heaters? Never seen this brand and don't have cheat sheet info on them. Serial #KCR507123

This is all I have. It looks like you may have 2007.

Champion – See American

American- 1st two digits equal the year, next two the week.

Thanks Christopher. Didn't know Champion was the same as American.

David something appears wrong with that number.

If the decoding is year-year/week-week for the first four numbers, it would be a 1950 model, no?

My info says it is decodes as Christopher says, but...

Oh, maybe the "5" is an "S" ?
