Default Check me on this one....

The water heater vent connector increases in size as it T's into the vent. It seems to me that it should have entered the vent above the boiler vent connector. It would have been neater, and with fewer bends. Any thoughts?

As long as the fuel is the same, I wouldn't be worried about it.

I would probably check under the tape for mechanical fasteners Bill.
