Default Even plumbing school dropouts can find work...

The floor beneath this water heater was concrete. They piped the TPR up and out of the basement. The supply line leaked. Note also the flue pipe angle. I never did find the termination point for it.

Copper tubing for a gas connector?

Was that the only drip leg (up high?)

Copper tubing very common here. I don't worry about drip legs because the utilities don't worry about them on residential construction.
