Default Ford Water Heater Date

Any idea of the date of manufacture of a Ford 3016E (Ser# FPD547433) oil-fired water heater?

Hi Bill,
Did you ever get an answer to that? I have one S# E347726.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Hey Fred -

I never did get a date on the Ford. I've only found two Fords so far, and both needed replacement so it might be an older manufacturer. How old is yours?

Hi Bill,

It was pretty old, I estimated about 30 years, but it was in great shape. The funny thing is, they had a brand new boiler alongside, installed less than a year ago, but they did nothing with the water heater. Also, the boiler they installed was a Burnham boiler, and didn't opt for the coil. I did recommend though, that they consider replacement.

Fred
