Default FYI: Ruud Heat Pump Water Heater Age
You guys might already know this, but it took me a while to figure out the age code on the new Ruud heat pump water heaters. Still week and year but its in the middle of the serial number. See picture for example.

Rheem & Rudd Somewhere in the middle of the serial number will be a letter. The following four numbers are the week and year.
