One of our clients had an FHA appraiser list an “automatic shut off valve for gas” as a required upgrade. There was no other explaination in the appraisal. The appraiser cannot be reached and they are trying to close the sale by Friday.
I have not heard of this. Can someone give me some direction? Any ideas? Thanks.
That may very well be required in areas where natural disasters occure often is the appraiser from earth quake country. I would contact the AHJ for the area concerned
