Default Gas W/H venting through wall

Hello Guys,

Saw this on a new construction today. First time I've seen one. I have read that some new vents are allowed through the wall. Any comments on this one?

Thanks!

Gee. First one of that design I've seen too. CodeCheck Complete didn't have an exact answer; first gut feel says ok; but maybe check distance to soffit vents? I had one sort of like that on an FHA final construction, checking with AHJ indicated at least that one was fine.

New direct vent type. Check install clearance requirements. i believe it is a listed appliance.
