Question Help identifying piping

Inspected a mobile home today. The piping looked like Qest but did not say "Qest" on it. It said "Vanguard Piping" on it. It was gray and had "Qest-like" fittings. Is this the same as Qest with the accompanying problems or is it something else?

Thanks

Hi Mike,

Vanguard were also a manufacturer of PolyButylene piping that has known problems, the tell-tale would be if it was market PB2110, but given that is is Vanguard in a manufactured home I would say that is probably PB.

Try using the search fuction at the top of the board as there was a discussion of this a coupleof months ago.

Regards

Gerry
