Hi,
I was wondering if anyone wouldn't mind sharing with me what they typically inspect for when inspecting a water filtration system, if indeed this is part of the typical home inspection. I've seen some sample inspection reports written up where they exclude expecting these systems. I know that some of these systems are actually a leased service where they come and replace tanks periodically. Just looking to learn what I can about this and what is typically inspected from a home inspector with regards to these systems. Please advise, Steve |

Most are unmaintained and need to be trashed but all we can do is check for flow and look for leaks. I report the presence of these and try to notice if they have been bypassed.
