Default kids, wash your hand before dinner, and your feet.

That could be the doggie wash. I found a hand-held shower head attached to a garage sink one time. My Clients were kind enough to inform me that many dog owners will install hand-held shower heads at sinks in the garage, mud room, laundry, etc., to wash the dog's feet. I didn't know that (in spite of the fact that I've owned a few billion dogs in my lifetime).

Just a tail piece on the sink basin.

No trap or drain connection visible.
