Although I haven't dug into any of their manuals, I'd try their installation guides...

It has been awhile but they had an episode on Ask This Old House and plumber Richard removed this similar faucet.
I thought the top of the handle screwed off or there is a screw on the handle. Then the plates came off. I would look at the handle for screws. Not much help!! Maybe Ask This Old House |

Angle grinder would work, but a sledge hammer would be more fun.
