Default Let's put a list together of the Pex Problems

As the Pex / polyethylene products are growing in use, and for good reason for the most part. There are also a number of issues popping up.

Should we make a list? Any that I have incorrect

From what I have read there seems to be some issues with Durapex pipe splitting open near the water heater. This only seems to be an issue on some that was manufactured around late 1990's. Long straight internal scoring was found on some of these pipes.
This could also be associated with houses with no thermal expansion control causing a weak pipe to crack.

I have Durapex made in 2001/2002 and have had zero problems.

The Zurn Qpex issue seems to only be in areas that have aggressive water.

None of those lawsuits have been adjudicated or settled have they? I will not reference a pending lawsuit as a potential defect in my reports.
