Default new plastic fitting

This am pre-drywall, plumber said its made by Zurn and they have been using them for one month.

Hope its not the start of another saga.

Pex. I installed some today. It's being put in new houses all around my area.

25 yr. warranty, no solder, compatible with copper, galvanized, cpvc.

I don't care how safe the manufacturers claim them to be, crimp fittings would never go in my house.

The original post was not about the pipe, but rather the fitting.

The fittings are not PEX.
They are: • Manufactured from Acudel® engineered thermoplastic resin, as indicated on your Watts link.

Your lowes link did not show any plastic fittings.
