Too many clamps.
Needs to be up higher,though I never write up lack of air gap.Maybe 5% use them.

That soft copper sure does make it ugly though.

I normally don't write up the air gap either Bob, I just had to laugh at this one though. This whole house was a mess, best part was the nice DRIP(STREAM) coming out the waste drain in the basement. Smelled good down there.

Just guessing
Did they retrofit that copper to galvanized?

Bet they forgot the di-electric fittings.

Yes. the plumbing in this place was a real mess to say the least. Right above the sink that is in the pics, was the upstairs toilet, which was leaking also. Truly delightful inspection.
