Yes,
Basement is wet (Home between 95 and 105 years old) Older stone foundation (18 - 24 inches). Somewhat visible in the photo are horizontal void areas. At some point, the walls were pointed with mortar and wood pieces used as filler in the void spaces. Termite activity removed the wood leaving the 1 inch horizontal voids in the wall. Joseph P. I inspected a historical home a few years back that two teak wood commode tanks in use fully updated with modern float valves freaked me out, the lids were even wood
