Default Old Toilet

Old toilet in Basement with an elevated wooden tank.
Was not able to test as the water utility is off.

Run into them sometimes and never working.
I would say the foundation is more of an issue unless that water spilled out of the tank.

Yes,
Basement is wet (Home between 95 and 105 years old)
Older stone foundation (18 - 24 inches).
Somewhat visible in the photo are horizontal void areas. At some point, the walls were pointed with mortar and wood pieces used as filler in the void spaces.
Termite activity removed the wood leaving the 1 inch horizontal voids in the wall.

Did they have the tin or copper liners, or just the wood?

Was that the bath tub beside it?
