Question Plumbing code 509.4 question
Hi,

Is this peculiar to San Antonio, or a part of the Uniform Plumbing Code, 2006?

In the San Antonio adopted plumbing codes, they have an amendment 509.4.6 that says water heaters can't be installed in an attic unless accessible from a door opening from the house on the same floor level.
