Saw this at an inspection this week end and wasn't sure what it was. I'm thinking a pump to increase water pressure in the master bath since the shower had 6 different sets of shower heads and pressure was good on all 6 running together. Anyone?

It is a recirculating pump to ensure hot water fast. is the bathroom a long distance from the tank?

Recirc pump. Too small to be a pressure pump.
