Inspected a property today with Zurn PEX Plumbing. The home was constructed in 2008 so I don't know if this is problematic. Are there still faulty fittings being installed?

The fittings did have QPEX stamped on them.

I am surprised at that one, especially since the alleged failing component is the brass. It will be interesting to see what happens.

The PEX system includes Zurn brass fittings, which are alleged to be defective. The fittings are the subject of pending litigation in Federal Court due to documented failures.
