I tried to raise electric water heaters once but I could never find the right fertilizer. Besides, I raised two kids so I've had my fill of raising things.

Unless the unit is listed as a sealed unit it has an ignition source every time the contactor makes or breaks.
If located in a garage the bottom contactor should be 18 inches off the floor. Do most local AHJ's enforce it? probably not.... |
