Default Re: Sump Pump Recall

Thanks. I bought a Zoeller (53 or 57) recently but fortunately it does not have a 20 foot cable.

Metal case, no ground, water? What's the problem?!!!

Other than the recall, damn fine pumps. My old Zoeller pump was 15 years old (they are date stamped) and still working. Being rusty, I decided to replace it with the exact same model. It was such an easy fit.

After seeing this site I also replaced the receptacle feeding the pump with a GFCI.
