Default Is this what i think it is...?

Just did this house yesterday. I wanted to double check these connections. This maerial only goes from the old copper to the water heater, and not anywhere else in the house I could find.

I think so too. Did any of the writing have the letters PEX on it? It might have been part of a word, ending in PEX.

You need to be concerned if you see the words Polybuteline (sp?) or PB

Isn't there something about NOT using plastic materials within so many inches of the actual water heater connections????

There is on all our installs but I'm not sure what the actual rule is.
