This is the TPR valve. It is being routed into a crawl space. This doesn't seem to be correct? Am I correct in thinking this?

Had the same thing yesterday, except mine was actually leaking into the CS.
My report stated: "The discharge pipe from the pressure relief valve discharges into the crawl space, where any leaks would not be noticed. It should be plumbed to the exterior and terminate no more than twenty-four inches above grade and no closer than six inches to it, or it should discharge to a concrete floor where no damage would result." “The things that will destroy America are peace at any price, prosperity at any cost, safety first instead of duty first, the love of soft living, and the get-rich-quick theory of life.” Theodore Roosevelt Joe Funderburk, CMI Alpha & Omega Home Inspections, LLC Inspecting Upstate SC & Charlotte Metro, NC NACHI ID: NACHI05120170 www.aohomeinspection.com |
