Earl,
I struggled with it at first but just hit the "insert picture" icon and "carefully" follow the instructions----it shouldn't be any trouble unless your picture is oversized and you don't notice the "fine print" error message!

Hey, Chuck.

A great many water heaters use the first four numbers as the year and week of manufacture. So in this case, the 9124 becomes 1991, the 24th week.

There are some variations, though. See my post in this thread (the second post in the thread):
