Water Pressure Reading in Winter

During winter months when outdoor hose bibs are winterized or covered what is the procedure for water pressure reading ?

One possibility would be to buy an adapter that screws into the faucet airater on a kitchen or bathroom fixture. The other option would be to screw your pressure gauge on a utility sink faucet or to a clothes washer bib.

Sometimes trying to hook onto a hose bib, laundry hook-up or kitchen faucet can be difficult because of the angle. I found that one of the 8 inch hose extensions with the wire wrap (to keep from bending) is a great addition to put on your pressure gauge to make it easier to hook up.
