Default well system

I'm inspecting a 1937 home with straight well water. the buyer wants an estimate on a new system. I will suggest connecting to the city first or a new well and system. Can anyone recommend a system for a 3/2. Can the pipes be flushed to remove some past contamination and connect the new system to the existing pipes if they are satisfactory.

I'm not sure what "a new system" is but what you're asking sounds like a plumber/well driller question.

Another thought...if they are galvanized pipes, replace 'em.

David,

Sounds like you might be out in Davie (or maybe down in Homestead). There may be no city water there. There are a couple of companies in Davie that should be able to give you the answers you are looking for.

Try this site. There are quite a few companies listed here.
