Maybe the plumbers had some leftovers they wanted to get rid of??

And the AAV is serving what?

This system is fubar and needs some correctin'.

It looks as though that pipe is in the crawl space....Did you map it out? Im curious to know what it is connected too.

How far away is the nearest vent, VTR? We used to do that when we were pressure testing, and then would later connect the vents.
