Default What's The Point

New construction. Weepers feed to sump in basement. Submersible pump pushes water up then back down through basement floor to storm sewer.
Why not just tie the weepers in to the storm sewer in the first place?

around these parts i have never seen a storm water system run into a home. Do they do that in Canada? Are you sure its not a waste sewer?

Probably cheaper to do it that way ,I am surprised they even allowed it to be hooked into the storm drain though.

Do you have a better pic of whre teh pipes connect at the top.

Try crop your high res photo, cropping it and posting the cropped image.

I agree with those above. It makes no sense to put runoff water into the sanitary sewer system and it is not permitted in my area.

I'm guessing someone cheated.
