Looks like maybe someone used the wrong type of drain cleaner and ruined the tub.

I would guess that someone needed a replacement tub and ended up with one designed for opposite position than the original and titty pink to boot. Sometimes FREE stuff is free for a reason. Not the ugliest bathroom Ive ever seen but ranks up there near the top.

Based on the stains from the spout it must run all the way across to the drain. Nothing but class!
