Anyone for a brew? Seems a perfectly sensible way of making a cup of tea while testing the TPR valve at the same time to me.

The cup under the T-P valve drain is often used as a test to find out IF that's the source of moisture showing up on the floor from time to time.
I've done it many times myself.

Brew? If you left off the TPR, stuck the overflow termination in a bucket of water and could figure out how to get the wort into the tank, it would actually make a pretty good beer fermenter. Or at least a pretty big beer fermenter.

Oooops! Darn, I gotta start reading my own links instead of just looking at the pictures. It's not a fermenter at all! It's... it's a ... well, never mind.

Could actually have been worse, at least they used the copper crimps. But, I'm not to optimistic either.
