Default 2x6 T&G PINE FLOOR (4' o.c. floor joists)

4x10 Doug Fir floor joists, spaced 4' o.c. with 2x6 t&g pine decking on top. Is this acceptable for pine? House constructed in 2000. Thanks very much for your input.

Default Re: 2x6 T&G PINE FLOOR (4' o.c. floor joists)

4x10 Doug Fir floor joists, spaced 4' o.c. are fine depending on the span of the joists.

Table R530.1 2006 IRC
Minimum thickness of lumber floor sheathing: Joist or beam spacing 48” to 60” o.c. minimum 1½" T&G
hope this helps
