Brand new house, in the building process. Concrete basement floor has been poured. Builder forgot to add plumbing for wet bar. Drilled holes in the slab to add plumbing. Any problems with this? Not a post tension slab.

it's done all the time. the slab is sawcut, the earth trenched, plumbed, backfilled & the concrete placed & finished.
sub-slab should be prepped -- compacted earth & vapor barrier. also, rebar gets drilled into existing slab every foot or sixteen inches so that it will not let the new concrete sag. |
