Default Crawl space vent

Is it acceptable to have a crawl vent to the garage. The crawl is attached to a basement & I would think that C/O could enter from the garage.

I thought it should go to the exterior.

I did note the handyman light.

Default Re: Crawl space vent

Crawlspaced vents should vent to the exterior and not to an interior space such as a garage. There should be no openings between the living space and garage except a solid, approved separation door.
