Default Foundation wall

These 2 foundation wall penetrations into 2 new crawlspace of some additions cannot be good, I am correct?

Looks like floor joists laying on a mud sill plate that used to have a foundation wall under it. Not good, could be even worse depending on the span of those joists or the presence of a load bearing wall somewhere above it. Not an easy fix but another day at the office for a good contractor.

Without evidence of movement/problems, that may get a minor comment here.
