Good or not??

The girder was right there but was fully over the supports. No issues were found. Just wanted others thoughts.

Proper metal shim plates would solve any concerns.

Sean

Metal shims like Jeffery said are prefered.
Plus I would surely note the beam is not centered over the support columns/piers.
Even if no problems are observed today, who knows in the future; plus the beam was designed to be centered over and fully supported by the piers/columns.

Thanks.
Metal would be nice but rare. I noted it. The floor joist butted instead of overlapped so when the framer comes to scab in the ties he can give his 2 cents.

Sean… it only needs to be metal if acting as shims. Proper masonry would have no need for shims, let alone metal shims.
