Inspecting basements, basement walls, efflorescence, mold on some blocks

Hollow block walls, 2 areas leaked (corner and basement window) due to, because of, exxxxterior cracks, cracked parging and some other exterior openings. Has NOTHING to do with a supposed bad/improper grade.
Those who tell homeowners they can fix most leaky basements by grading are full of sht! ](,)](,)

Inside shot of leaky corner…no visible crack is seen when eyeballing a lot of these corners but THAT does not ever mean, there aren’t existing cracks on the outside of the wall :-k:-k You could be SUED by telling your clients this kind of crap.

First handful of photos of… inside basement, block walls, 2 different leaky areas, some efflorescence and mold on some inside blocks… has NOTHING to do with a supposed bad/improper grade…hello!

Then see other photos… exterior cracks, cracked parging and some other openings/gaps

SELLER previously did a half az’d job in the one area/basement window hence, it did not last!

Umm, did ya see the inside photos? Yeah, just one of several reasons the inside basement system chumps want to cover/hide part or most of the interior basement wall #-o](,)#-o](,)#-o](*,)#-o

Unlike the corner, sometimes… some cracks ARE visible on the inside… like this one

If you are a home inspector and actually tell homeowners, buyers, sellers they can fix their leaky basement by regrading and other incompetent bulshhttt, you have opened yourself up to possibly getting sued or, losing your inspection fee.

And to some homeowners, sheesh, sometimes your drywall or paneling NEEDS to be removed, hello.
In order to help you find and then FIX your actual problem(s)… (honestly help you, not scrww you like inside system co’s) then, geeeeeez, your going to have to remove some of this! You may have mold etc on the basement wall and–or, on back side of the stoooooooooooopid drywall/paneling.

you mean those white plastic sheets don’t fix everything ?

llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, ummmmmm, no sir… so sowy! Hi ya Mister Jim!

good afternoon Mark…those sheets make a perfect breeding ground for some primo mold imho…

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAhahahhahaaaaaa!!! Indeed sir

So umm, duuuuh, you mean crap like ‘Bright wall paneling’ and other such garbage… eh?
Interior system companies don’t want you to SEE whats going on like ummm, duh, cracks widening, more efflorescence, mold etc, CONCEALING EXISTING defects/problems for… self gain!

yeah pretty much…but if You are into collecting mold…

The interior basement system co’s actually SPIN duh ‘mold’ shtt.
Like ummm duhhhhhhhhhhhh, quite a few try and sell homeowners CRAP like the EZ Breathe system :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

They’ll tell ya how concerned they are about your HEALTH and mold BUTT they never STOP the water from coming in exterior cracks etc (as in photos) sooooooooooo, they cannot stop/prevent further g dang mold etc and, as you said and know sir, they’ll cover/hide part or most of basement wall with ‘bright wall’ paneling and other like bllllsht.
