Found this truus in a brand new home, the angled web in two places was not secured under the nail plate..
How does a builder fix this problem? |

The last time that happen to me the Manufacturer sent a sketch that indicated to install a 3/4" plywood both sides, nailed and glued. Typical of any remedial repairs that may be required. Truss Manufactures can come up with off the wall repairs. Those little plates must have a lot more strength then we can imagine. Marcel |

Try tearing a truss apart if you want to get a feel for how well gangnails hold. They hold!
