Observing Reality

Found this browsing for other things and had to copy, because I thought it was humorous.

BAD - Don’t have enough hangeRs; JUST cut them in half and make two.

UGLY - After you cut them in half just beat them with a hammer until they fit your needs and nail in place with whatever nails you find on the floor.

Besides a safety hazard, seems like a waste of good money.

What goes up, no matter how you look at it:

CAN AND WILL COME DOWN!

This has OSHA written all over it.

WARNING: Not Recommended

Thanks for sharing Marcel.
Must be inch thick tempered glass in that last one.

The one with the bent PVC guardrail has me staring at the downspout, and wondering how much efflorescence I would find on the other side of that brick foundation.

Am I seeing things, or do those steps with the “art deco” handrail get narrower as they go down? Good thing the handrail isn’t on the other side.

The ladder is “counterbalanced” (OK but I couldn’t resist) by resting on the edge of the roof of the bay window below, or at least it would be when the glass shatters. See, you gotta think ahead.

“But I don’t understand…I **used **6x6 posts on my carport and they **still **weren’t strong enough…”

Gotta love those joist hangers.

And “The guy on the ladder” pic was boring. I was looking for additional pictures with a shattered window with no man on the ladder.

Thanks, Marcel.

Good stuff Mr C
