Default Poly wrap and tire stop ?'s

Is the poly wrap ok as a protection against the untreated stud on the base of the tub framing (pic 1) ?

Is a tire stop required in a garage? One was never formed up on this 2005 house ? (pic 2)

No, PT is required on a slab, do not see many tire stops around here, I don't know about Texas.
