Seller had most of wall painted, not lower 1-2 courses
Seller did not disclose ANY problems.

UN-fkg-beeeeeeeeeeeeeelievable! Guarantee ya, somebody gonna be
coughing up some CASH on this one.

Vertical,step and horizontal cracks...there are C R A C K S in the
wall! J Krist man! Thats why there is...umm, water entering which
winds up on the floor, LOTS of it. Nimrod.

Thats why there is efflorescence, paint peeling etc.
'Try not to SHOVEL snow along house'? Are you kidding?
Where this HI learn this CHTT? And the seller, W T F!!!! Idiot!

How would adding and sloping soil along house repair cracks, huh?
Hey T Carter, how the fk would installing some dumb azz trench-
french drain repair cracks,HUHHHHHHHHHHHH? Fool!

How about that lower part of knotty pine pic 13, this all just happened huh?
Yeah, it all just happened if you consume lots of drugs `n alcohol

Pic 15, the top of vertical-corner crack...what, add dirt?
Pic 19, where the fk is the downspout skip?

NEXT House.....Roseville
Gas company yanked out old line, didn`t seal the fkg HOLE,Outside!
They did come back and seal the Inside. UN...be...lievable!
Guess what? It LEAKS! Sure as CHTT man, it leaks.
It leaks because they DIDN`T repair the hole,OUTSIDE!
Plus, few feet away is a crack...at least 2 entry points,2 problems.

-Improperly Constructed Masonry Barrier Wall.....got milk?
http://www.vannoyassociates.com/Masonry.pdf

...in depth investigation into the water penetration problems...multiple
wall deficiencies were observed, all primarily the result of poor-
workmanship...

...partially filled collar joint, poorly consolidated collar joint. Removed brick
units revealed a completely omitted collar joint at least 4' in any direction

the effects of improperly constructed collar joints were two-fold. First,
the structural integrity of the walls was compromised....second...was
compromise of water resistance....the omission resulted in unimpeded water
migration into the joint...

...partially filled joints typically resulted in pockets of where water
collected and bridged to the interior of the building...

-Facial Separation Cracks .... most frequently caused by inadequate tooling
of mortar joints during construction but may also be caused by thermal
contraction....shrinkage

-Brick Unit Cracking ....cracks of the type evident at the building are
typically caused by water penetration and subsequent freezing and thawing
but also may be caused by inadequate quality control in the brick
maunfacturing process...

Several prob`s.... window,rod hole(s),openings around service lines.

Inside drain tile/baseboard system-sump is NOT going to solve/repair these problems. Neither will raising stupid grade, longer downspout extensions, trench drain, but try all you like.

http://picasaweb.google.com/classics...03910589660018

'Jay'...re-grading NOT gonna get it done for you,not going to SOLVE problems. There are openings around window(s) and probably other`s above grade.

See water stains on wood just inside window, water can get into blocks and enter on floor, along cold joint, cove.
http://picasaweb.google.com/classics...04121043057858

Raising the grade doesn`t fix problems around window thus, won`t stop water from entering. He`ll still get water in on wind-blown rains outta THAT direction...but raise the grade all ya like.

Dunno if there are any cracks on EXTERIOR of hollow block wall, run a water-test at ground level to find out, may have a 2-part problem.Raising the grade also doesn`t repair/waterproof exterior cracks, loose parging etc...but again, raise the stupid grade all ya like. You don`t think some moisture will enter huh? May cause some mold, mildew, efflorescence, paint peeling and allows any g dang insect to enter at will.

Termites cause about 5 BILLION in damage every year, they ENTER THROUGH foundation cracks and other exterior openings and some wanna raise the grade...got milk?

If either of these basement walls had drywall/paneling up, can ya see how HO/whoever would most likely only see water on basement floor, along cove and could get BS`d into an inside system because many of these knotheads will tell HO`s the reason why water is along cove is because of some supposed hydrostatic pressure problem under floor. They can`t see walls, water running down walls, cracks or other problems where water is entering, they only see it come onto floor.

Got Roots? http://picasaweb.google.com/nate.hinz/TheRootOfAllEvil
Homeowners says they had water backing up in basement, thankfully
they didn`t call Never-Dry Waterpf`g who would have most likely
blllchtted em into an inside system

http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

pics 1,2 start job, notice not alot of room between fence `n house and
notice loooong downspout extension

many inside co`s will bs people and say 'Oh,there is not enough room to
excavate and it`ll only ruin the landscaping, plus it costs 7 million dollars'
N O N S E N S E! Misrepresenting what can be done, hand dig.

3-7.. dug out in about 45 minutes. Someone dug down about 3-3 1/2'
and damproofed, no hydrauclic cement and no gravel...mistake. They didn`t
locate 'other' openings and seal em either.May barely see hairline crack
due to thin asphalt over it. Thin rolled on,sprayed on asphalt barely covers
a HAIRLINE crack, can still leak.

12.. not good pic of lovely Rita, barmaid, no meter maid here...got milk?

14.. finished, cost $800. Umm, where is all the ruined landscaping? Help
me with that blllchttt claim.

Notice part... 'its a member of several ORG`s'. So? Being a PAID
member of an ORG in THIS BUSINESS doesn`t mean squatola!

This is what happens when the inside guys don`t wanna or care to
diagnose the problem, locate where water is FIRST entering.

INCOMPETENT,NEGLIGENT.

For the 12th million time, inside drain tile/baseboard systems do NOT
stop/prevent water from entering through cracks, loose parging and
other EXTERIOR openings and since they don`t,mold, mildew
efflorescence will most likely get worse(if already on walls) or begin
to grow on wall, part of wall...BEHIND the sheeting the inside company
places against wall or behind your drywall/paneling.

If companies DO UNDERSTAND THIS and still rather sell an inside system
to homeowners then my 2 cents says that is FRAUD.

Fraud= deceit,trickery,sharp practice,or breach of confidence PERPETRATED
for PROFIT or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage.

Inside systems require alot LESS MATERIALS and....alot LESS LABOR.
It`s a much better MONEY MAKER for the company and salesperson.

Many use bs-lines like.. 'Oh Mr and Mrs Jones, you see water along cove,
cold joint because you have a hydrostatic pressure problem under floor
and only an inside system can remedy this'..and ..'Oh Mr and Mrs Jones
exterior waterproofing is unnecessary,it didn`t work when house was built
and won`t work now plus it`ll ruin your landscaping and is very
expensive'....chtt like that. FALSE CLAIMS,misrepresenting exterior
waterproofing and those who do exterior waterproofing.

Give this lady her hard earned money BACK so she can hire someone else
who`ll take the time and DIAGNOSE the problem(s) correctly so she can
have them repaired CORRECTLY. Sooo fkg tired of homeowners gettin
screwed by inside crap AND by those who tell them to raise and slope grade
and other garbage.

IF if if, this lady 'ONLY' had some water on FLOOR under bsmt window then,
it`s possible her only problem was the window! Either the vent and/or 'other'
openings around the window or elsewhere ABOVE ground.
It could be part of problem but ya have to take
the time to diagnose where water is entering, sometimes its a 2-3 part problem.

Raising/sloping soil, longer downspouts etc does NOT
repair cracks, loose parging, open mortar joints, caulking needs around bsmt-
windows(replacement),doors and so on.
So WHYYYYY keep recommending this? It doesn`t SOLVE the problem(s).
Easy to recommend BLLchhhttt when not being held accountable.

P.F. Hello, hello, hello is there anybody in there? ...is there anyone home?

Ya think we/a few others want to hand dig 6'+ deep.huh? Are you CRAZY?
Risk our az in trench week after week for LESS MONEY, yeah we earn-take home
LESS money and work hell of alot harder versus if we were to install inside system
because, MORE money is spent of materials and solid-necessary laborers to get the
dammm job done right....for you,the homeowner.

Lady just bought house late October 2007.
Like to ask as pleasantly as i can .. how the chtt did this pass
ANY inspection? Please help me with this, i`m a lil slow.

http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

Can ya see bow? Nothing to worry about? Pour more concrete er somethin?
Downspout needs long extension right?

Sided front porch, see the RAT-way opening under porch? Chtt, come on in,
Got room for them too!

Pic 5... corner-crack at back corner, nothing to worry about?
raise and slope the grade? lolol

Pics 7-10 J Kristmas! Holes in siding, around windows and doors...
nah, not to worry. Un-gdang-believable,truly someone is blind or maybe
its that increasing American 'i don`t give a smelly chtt' attitude, or
its also possible HI just did massive amounts of heroin er somethin.
Sue the CHTTTTT outta seller, inspector etc.

NO, we all know not all HI`s are are anything like this butt-head...BUTT
lolol, they do exist!

Pic 11.. this is the inside of where the corner-crack is outside,
water on floor has NOTHING to do with the goofy grade, pfft!

You should notice all walls were fairly recently patched and painted...
wonderful! What an a great idea! Lets put 50 coats of Drylok of walls,
that`ll fix the leaks.

Patching and painting the walls is CONCEALING existing signs of problems
at time house is/was for sale.....sue the mfr! Why should this lady get
bent over and plugged, cough up chtt load to repair?
Thats bllllllllccccchtttttt.

Raise and slope grade, pour concrete next to house or mudjack, add longer
downspout extensions,patch `n paint walls....all this CHTT doesn`t
repair the cracks, other openings. Doesn`t relieve/lessen soil pressure or
other pressure/weight off exterior of walls, doesn`t remove roots that
can also cause problems.

Pic 14.. some efflorescence/stain bleeding through. Wow, that PAINT
really solved the fkg problem didn`t it?

Pics 15-17 and some others.... you can`t tell/see CRACKS that were
patched/painted over???

Over and out from your mental and physical 'Waterproofing' superior!

Parts of back wall were previously 'damproofed' and backfilled with same
crap soil, not good, still leaked.

3,4 root near corner, big boy pushing against wall

8 roots large `n small dried the chtt outta the soil, was hard as chinese trigonometry with the lights out.

10 Hello! So...install carbon fiber straps on inside w/inside drain tile system? It will NOT remove roots/soil off exterior of wall, won`t stop/prevent further deterioration wall, but ya believe what you like. This job was about $3,250 1 day...hey, how much inside-gang want for many carbon straps and inside system? Much more than $3,250...dang skippy.

12 crack near corner, is NOT VISIBLE inside basement.

14-16 other IMPORTANT openings, some were just below grade, others above. Raising the grade, pouring concrete, mudjacking existing slab(s),1 mile long downspout extensions, trench drains do NOT REPAIR cracks `n other direct openings....never have.

17,18 done, time for ice cold beer and Momma.....got milk?

How will ANY Inside drain tile or baseboard system with sump stop/prevent
further water from entering into blocks?

How will ANY Inside system stop/prevent further deterioration of wall?

How will ANY Inside system remove expanding/contracting soil, lateral
pressure off wall?

How will ANY Inside system remove roots that can push against a wall or
grow into small cracks and widen them?

How will ANY Inside system stop/prevent efflorescence, mold, mildew?

How will ANY Inside system stop/prevent termites and any insects from
continuing to enter at will? Radon could also easily enter.

Termites cause about 5 billion dollars of damage every year. Spray chtt
outside? What if there is a driveway/patio atop cracks like these? Smash
holes on inside? Cracks still open....outside. Not worried about coming
months,years?

Termites, Foundation cracks provide hidden entry points for the lil-fella`s

Homeowners leaked on heavier-longer rains, spring thaws.Tried raising the grade, long downspouts...still leaked in all area/footage we waterproofed.

Did parts of both side walls and entire back wall, they did not/have not had
ANY other leaky areas inside, fix whats broke.Ya don`t talk people into more footage when they`ve never had 1 drop and have no bowing of wall.Well, there are indeed some who talk homeowners into more footage than necessary, yup happens every g dang day.

Pic 1 had back porch, they didn`t want it as it was getting messed up from nearby tree/roots so...bye bye!

Pic 2,3 two block footings and one poured.Former owner had smaller porch/steps...thus the block footings. Poured footing for edge of larger porch
Get down in small trench and try whackin` footings out w/20lb sledge, not alot of fun...do inside co`s work this hard? Pffffffffffffttttttttttttttt
Do they hand dig 6-8'+ deep, huh? Around-under gas lines, water lines, sprinkler lines...whackin` through roots, bricks, blocks, wood and all kinds of CHTT-o-LA Mr big bad builder didn`t wanna haul away, well screw them too,CHEAP wuzzies. The Inside guys? nah they break out edge of bsmt floor and maybe dig down 12-18"..maybe, and no digging when using baseboard system. Yet most charge as much or MORE.

Hey, one more thing...for now, about some of these builder-az ho`s who backfill with garbage...you realize TERMITES enjoy WOOD,huh? And bricks, blocks and crap creates POCKETS of air where WATER will accumulate and sit against your basement wall. Haul the TRASH away buddy builder, ya cheap NIMROD! makes plenty of money and can`t haul this crap away, quite a few builders sub out most or everything so, they bascially don`t 'DO' much of anything.Have a few diggers lookin for ya Mr Builder? Careful, they`re tougher than you`ll ever hope to be.

Pic 4 clay HARD as a ROCK! Had to run water in soil to loosen CHTT up to dig it out, lil biatch.if ya don`t know what its like hand digging about 10' X 6' deep, and gotta get it dug out in 3-4 hours from 8am to 11-12 then, when ya have nuttin else to do with yerself, grab a digging shovel, have FUN!

Pic 6,11 umm, lotta clay. Hey, how much dirt inside guys have to haul away...huh? And Backfill? How much gravel/pea stone? lolol chtt. Add the hydraulic cement, asphalt, visqueen and chtt, we gotta saw-cut and knock 18-20" X whatever linear footage of concrete out too, on drive/patio side.

Pic 7 big brother TY in hole, don`t pizz him off, he don`t like alot of blcctt either. 90+ degrees every day, somebody trying to klll my old az. Is it 90 degrees in basement for inside gang...huh? Sun beatin` down on their az?
Please don`t tell us how hard they work!!

Pic 10 ummm, not alot of room here!!! Still got biatch done and done right.
Tired of hearing, reading there is NO room for excavating! Shuuut up please, you know not what ya say.

Funny how no builders,no inspectors,no hm imp article, whoever makes these codes etc etc etc come ot ask the one`s who DO-the-JOB of their opinion, their knowledge.Nah, screw them, they dunno chtt. Truth is, its THEM who dunno chtt and continue the MANY myths/garbage.

Pic 13,14 as is just about ALWAYS the case, nothing wrong with exterior drain tiles, not one lousy thing wrong with any of em.And even if there was it is NOT WHY,how water is FIRST-ENTERING into the HOLLOW blocks and eventually winds up/comes onto the basement floor along the cold joint, cove.

Pic 15,16,17 hairline vertical crack. Raising `n sloping the grade doesn`t repair any crack. Because it is a hairline crack is WHY they didn`t get much water in and only several times a year.

Pic 18,19,20 horizontal crack, runs entire length of back wall, YOU can`t SEE it from inside the basement! ONLY times you`ll see problem in this area of block inside basement is when the wall has pushed in at-this-point, it shifted in due to exterior LATERAL soil pressure, sometimes with aid of roots.

Pic 21,22,23 done. HO is well aware he may see/get a LIL settling of soil. There will be MORE, alot more settling when some dummies backfill w/most or all soil, especially clay. And sand will settle more than most think, thats why we don`t use it for backfilling.Say a HO wants new driveway or new pavers and someone backfilled w/sand or clay, well....gonna be more settling than you want! Have seen 2' DEEP SPACES of AIR, of nothing.... between new drive and where clay was backfilled after the goofball damproofed wall, don`t drive the CAR too close to the house!

This homeowner had bids of $17,000 and $22,000(right around there, can`t remember exactly)
One company would have used a backhoe! lol There is your ruined landscaping and prolly cracks in driveway, sidewalk. Best be CAREFUL when using equipment along, near house-basement walls. May CAUSE other cracks or existing cracks to widen, possible wall could bow in. It could crack NEIGHBOR`S Wall if homes are close...it 'could'...its possible, and it has happened. Other company was good old inside system with digging 1-2' trenches outside.Entire house could have been done for about $12,500..bigger the house the more it`ll cost ya to fix chtt, more for waterproofing, more for a roof etc.
Where is all he ruined landscaping? Where O Where is it INSIDE-gang?
Shuuuuut up, stop with your false claims, disparaging statements. Its YOUR az that CANNOT SUBSTANTIATE your many claims.

No problem, I was just thinking you could teach us not to do such things. You want to hear something sad? Playing drums is what I do best in life, and I passed up some great opportunities in music. Boy, do I regret it now!

Water coming outta Chimney chute door and/or just below?

Here`s the 2 MAIN reasons WHY, where water FIRST-ENTERS.
http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

Other than possibility of condensation occurring inside chimney, water most often comes outta chute door or under it from EXTERIOR crack(s) or rod holes in outside chimney wall and/or, openings where 1st course of bricks sit atop bsmt walls and/or openings-cracks in bricks, mortar joints, flashing or anywhere else from ground level all the way UP to top.

Pic`s 1-4 MANY Co`s who ONLY or most often install INSIDE systems will MISREPRESENT,LIE and tell homeowners CRAP like...'Oh, there isn`t enough room to excavate'.....total NONSENSE as anyone w/a tad of common sense can SEE.

Pic`s 5-7 Hard as a ROCK, hard as 4 table legs or as a brother friend of ours says, hard as 4 rolls of quata`s. Another wonderful 90 degree day. hey, how hot is it in basement for these inside wanna be experts...huh? Is the SUN beating down on their azz in there? Don`t think so.

Pic`s 8-11 Vertical crack and a lil horizontal crack and YUP, lots of water can FIRST enter through these and come out inside, outta chute door or under door, along cove.

Pic`s 12,13,14,16 'OTHER' direct openings that can, that do allow quite a bit of water to first enter, gotta seal ALL chtt up.Below ground on exterior and above.Repairing open mortar joints doesn`t repair crack in wall and some of us as homeowners have both.

Pic`s 17,18 Done, ready for beer and Playboy Bunnies, got milk?

Ask yet again, WHERE O WHERE is all the ruined landscaping `n chtt i keep reading about, hearing about on radio Hm Imp shows? Where the FK is it?
Shuuuuuuuut UP will ya, you Inside people and some of yer buddy radio hosts LIE....alot! TIRED of this CHTTT, if i had the MONEY i`d sue yer azz.

Incompetent, negligent Inside salespeople/owners on THIS subject. Shuuuut up for once and fk`g LEARN something that WILL actaully HELP homeowners, dumb azz.

Job cost, if my old azz remembers right, $825...took about 4 hours.

Inside Co`s best leave your DISPARAGING statements at home with your bag of weed or pound off heroin or, whatever it is you do to get yer BRAINS all twisted and screwed up on THIS subject. STOP LYING just to get a stuupid inside drain tile/baseboard job that will not stop/prevent where water FIRST enters most peoples homes. They don`t want to hand dig,too hard for the lil weasels.Ya think my old azz wants to hand dig ya dumb azz? lol g dammmmmm they pizz me OFF! Lil wuzzy liars.
