Hot hot hot...real smoker today with 900% humidity, dam near killed my old az but....not yet!

When ya get to pic`s 19-20....take a long look and tell me please if the grade is sloped away....sheesh.
Poured basement wall...6'9" to hell, i mean footing.
http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

1-2 start job

3-4 hairline vertical crack....and oh yes, it leaks.

5,7,9,10 open rod holes. Maybe....some point in future someone will change the STUPID basement waterproofing codes, nimrods! Corks are blcchtt. Damproofing? LOL See what happened to thinly applied damproof shtt here, breaks down, some comes off on soil when...they don`t place visqueen OVER the dumb az thin mastic. Why bother damproofing in the first place? Waste of money if ya do it like this.

6 opening in brick

11-12 whatcha trying to do with pvc pipe? Am told Mr Builder put it in...was good idea. Are you kidding me? How the holy hell is any underground piping gonna seal-repair-waterproof cracks, rod holes? French/trench drains,raising-sloping the grade,69 mile long downspout extensions do NOT repair/waterproof cracks,loose-cracked parging, rod holes etc. Never has, never will. Keep reading-hearing from some who say 85-95% of ALL leaky basements can be solved by raising the grade and this other crap....this is complete nonsense.

13-15 clay soil, very wet, very fkg HEAVY....lotta weight against walls.

19-20 is the GRADE SLOPED AWAY from house?

Did the sloped grade AND blccht lil pvc piping SOLVE the leak?
NooooooOOOOoOooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
And where the crap is all the RUINED LANDSCAPING? 30 years of digging holes and still wondering where the fk is all this supposed ruined landscaping we keep hearing about? And EXPENSIVE? This is even MORE BLCCHT, lies, false claims. Job cost $850, done in 3 1/2 hours.

If this fkg old man can hand dig in 90-100 degree temps for 30 years, why the shtt can`t these Inside knotheads do it?

http://www.denverpost.com/portlet/ar...shipId=1974064 ...i got a crack for ya.

Fixng foundation problems....this guy is 'fixing' foundation problems?
Is this preventing foundation problems,leaks?
Only if yer taking opium rekktally.
Those who don`t do exterior waterproofing try and twist shtt around and make it appear their Inside crap-o-la is all ya need.

If your ROOF leaks are you going to go up in attic and try and patch the leak or come up w/some water-diverting scheme or, are ya gonna go outside on roof and find `n repair the g dang problem?

Just because there may not be a visible crack inside basement does not mean there aren`t any exterior cracks,loose-cracked parging etc. http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

Pic`s 6-9 ..Exterior corner crack
Pics 10,11 ..Inside corner

So, the guy applying the company bllchtt on inside won`t do squat to prevent-stop water, insects from entering the exterior crack...it`s a HOLLOW-BLOCK-WALL. Why WASTE the money, time.

http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

Pics 3-5 This HO tried simple shtt, put backer-rod and tar and caulk along joints/house, also put in 7" thick concrete along house, did it solve leak? Did it repair the crack, the real reason where water first entered into block wall? No, but try all ya like. Wouldn`t sell the house doin` shtt like this assuming you solved the leak.

Last sentence...following these simple guidelines WILL SOLVE 99% of wet basement blues.

Inside system, did they define actual problems or just sell another HO the only dumb az thing they do http://picasaweb.google.com/croneil3...20603015072946

Sold em an Inside system which won`t do squat to stop water from entering through the wall and around basement window etc...incompetent,sue these scammers. http://picasaweb.google.com/croneil3...20783403699474

Wall anchor crap, still leaks. Leaks because most who install these dang things don`t go outside and waterproof the exterior cracks/wall...putting the wall anchors in CREATES more holes/openings on exterior which they do not seal. http://picasaweb.google.com/DrE.Geni...43394759519858

Shoulda waterproofed the vertical crack under the door near corner when ya had chance, when ya had everything torn up. http://picasaweb.google.com/Mark.Bac...67787039348578

-Video
Another Inside system put in, can tell by kind of pumps... Ultra Sump III
Apparently 'Gabriel' had about 10 sump pumps put in and has spent about $20,000 but water remains.
http://new.khastv.com/modules/news/a...4&storytopic=4

In Grand Rapids MI, same SHTT happened to homeowners, same Ultra Sump and inside system installed. These incompetent SOB are NOT diagnosing MANY homeowners actual problems, never have! ...Old link http://www.woodtv.com/global/story.asp?s=8945

Putting in 52 sump pumps and an inside drain tile or baseboard system doesn`t repair crack(s) in walls, rod holes BEHIND drywall. You can`t diagnose these problems when ya can`t see the dang basement wall. Most of these inside sales-dorks give less than 2 craps about looking at-inspecting the basement wall behind drywall-paneling which would help determine the freakin problem(s).They opt to blcchtt many with false claims which leads to installation of inside system which is the ONLY THING THEY DO.

Sometimes the problem is NOT the basement wall, sometimes it is openings above ground level and sometimes the problem is a blockage under the floor, between the house/floor and street and many will only need an experienced plumber to snake through storm trap cleanout, sometimes the back up is the citys problem. This does NOT mean ya need ANY inside bs system.

LAST story....'Timing Matters'
http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=730483
SELLER.........GRADED the slope to redirect water, then extended DOWNSPOUTS.
BUYERS/Inspector followed a damp trail......found a bulging-unsound basement wall BEHIND the DRYWALL that sellers installed.

According to article, state law allows BUYERS 3 years to sue and 6 years in cases of intentional-FRAUD.

And many Inside Co`s install a (pffftttt) vapor barrier or sheeting against the basement wall(s). This will only HIDE the real condition of the basement wall, it doesn`t stop water from entering!

5th paragraph...'Residents are reminded that the discharge from their individual basement DEWATERING SYSTEM should NOT be put into the sanitary sewer system as it is illegal by city code. The sanitary sewer system was not designed to accomodate this water and it only adds to the overload on the system'

Why do many of those supposed experts who install inside dewatering systems divert water into the sanitary system?

http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/lif...4?OpenDocument

Question) Basement leaks in 2 areas(block),driveway is sloped away from house, can we paint the inside blocks that has been skim coated with water sealant paint?
manager answers) ...if walls have water coming through them, you could use a waterproofer to help prevent this, works best when applied to unpainted surface....remove the old paint and use UGL or Behr....

...manager adds 'if there are cracks in the wall where water is coming through, chisel them out `n fill with hydraulic cement and then paint'

...finishes with 'if your wall is leaking where the wall meets the floor
you have a bigger problem.Water is forming under your foundation....pressure is pushing it up. To solve this,a channel needs to be dug around your ENTIRE foundation....'

Hey Mr Bill.....happy Fathers day and all due respect but, are you a waterproofing-foundation expert or a HD manager? You are adding to the confusion, false claims,myths....yes sir you are.

THINK please! How will applying 77 wonderful coats of paint on inside walls stop/prevent water from entering into hollow-block walls through exterior cracks and other openings? It`s SNOT gonna happen.
http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

They either have a crack,loose-cracked parging etc on outside of block walls in these 2 areas and/or, openings ABOVE ground in these 2 areas and/or, a blockage under da floor between house `n street and often this can be remedied by snaking the storm trap cleanout `n other times the HO may need to dig `n replace part/all of lateral line OR, may be citys problem, especially when flooding occurs. http://www.sccmua.com/backup.htm
Note.. 'Illegal plumbing connections'......"DO NOT connect french drains, sump pumps and other flood control systems to your sanitary sewer"

Mr Bill, just because a homeonwer may see water at wall-floor joint does NOT AT ALL mean they automatically have any pressure problem under the floor and need for dumbchtt 'channel'. PLEASE seek more facts before making ANY RECOMMENDATIONS to any homeowners, j krist.

Guy says the KEY to PREVENTING foundation problems is 'keeping water away from foundation'. Really? Crap, i`ve been wrong all along! Oh Dear.
Can`t get into all the bllchtt in this article.

Professional fixes? A variety of remedies?
Fixes....remedies....professional.
How can there truly-honestly be a... variety of professional fixes-remedies for 3 ways water gets into basement?

Other than an interior leaky plumbing fixture or condensation problem...
1) water entering through basement wall,through a crack,rod hole,loose-cracked parging,where service line enters etc.
2) water entering through ABOVE ground openings/pathways
3) problem under the floor, between floor-house `n street,a back up,sump problem(clog in tile that empties into pit) etc.

There are NOT a variety of actual remedies/fixes.
Are there a variety of myths,false claims,blcchtt remedies/fixes?
HLLLLLL Yes.

Video, Residents in new subdivision outraged over mold problems
http://www.ksn.com/news/local/19412044.html

25 out of 45 homes have basement mold problem.

apparently had 'guidance' from Mennonite housing

Menn. housing had houses examined and their recommendation was to install vapor barrier against inside walls?

What good will a vapor barrier do? ZIP!
What happened to FIND the water-moisture problem and eliminate it?

http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/story?id=131638
Page 3..... 'experts agree on one thing,if you`ve got mold you need to get rid of it. More importantly, you need to ELIMINATE the CAUSE.We say, FIND the moisture,ELIMINATE the moisture, clean up the mold'

Page 6.... How do you select someone to remove the mold and fix the damage? It is recommended that inspection and remediation NOT be done by the same person/firm.

Page 7... Remember, just cleaning up the mold is not enough. You must find the water source and eliminate it.

Is placing vapor barriers on inside of basement walls or crawlspace walls(encapsulation) 'finding the water-moisture source and eliminating it'?

Seems some aren`t willing to understand....LOOKY.......MANY block walls
have EXTERIOR cracks that are NOT VISIBLE inside the stupid basement.
Not because there is drywall/paneling up. http://www.catskillhouse.us/blog/cra...undation-wall/

See pic`s 1 and 2? Huh?
Then see pic taken INSIDE the basement. Homeowners says himself... 'No VISIBLE evidence of a problem on the inside of the foundation'.

http://photosmart.hpphoto.com/FilmSt...5281e76&SKU=HP

See this ALL THE TIME. Inside water-diverting salesperson-their engineer-owner IDIOT`s will try and blcchtt homeowner and tell them...'See,there is no crack(s) inside, Bubber don`t know shtt, you have water along wall-floor joint due to hydrostatic pressure'....that kind of blcchtt, false claims,FRAUD.

Its fk`g fraud man.

See last link, pics. Block walls, some hairline cracks are visible inside but NOT ALL and certainly NOT that fat-daddy corner-crack.
See that ROOT? Pic`s 8,9 etc. Roots can`t cause cracks-leaks huh?
Pic`s 14-18 clearly show cracks at corner that are NOT VISIBLE INSIDE the basement! Homeowners gets water at wall-floor joint, cold joint.

What is the only METHOD of repairing cracks like these.......huh?
What will REMOVE the stuuupid ROOT off wall?
An Inside drain tile or baseboard system w/sump?
Are you nuts?

Raising-sloping the GRADE, longer downspout extensions,french-trench drains also will NOT solve the problems/repair-waterproof the exterior cracks.

How about driveside walls that have cracks, some recommend mudjacking or replacing the driveway so it slopes/piches away from house.....another fk up incompetent recommendation.

Capizzo,EOF,Downriver etc have TRIED to INFORM ya.
Ran estimate for a FLIPPER yesterday, already had XYZ-DIPSTICK-Inside buttheads over.....so his brain has been fk`d with.
Basement walls CLEARLY have exterior cracks, water coming in along wall-floor joints, block walls.Has mold-mildew,paint peeling on walls, efflorescence, smells like shtt.Show him pics, offer to e-mail links etc.
Mr Flipper says...'Well maybe an Inside System will work on this house'
No!!! Not on this house or any house w/same problems, doesn`t matter if house was in Tanzania,Romania or fkg Zanzibar!

Wanna recommend injection from inside eh? Well good luck http://photosmart.hpphoto.com/FilmSt...5ca0be7&SKU=HP

This homeowner was told to cement chimney chute door, she tried, still leaked. Then called several co`s for estimates, the Inside KNOTHEADS told her to install inside system,of course. One co. said they do ` wall on inside for $2,800 and other said all 4 inside perimeter walls for $12,000. NEITHER would have stopped water from entering the actual fkg problems, cracks etc on the OUTSIDE.....sheeesshhhh! If i remember right, job cost $850. http://photosmart.hpphoto.com/FilmSt...a269878&SKU=HP

She was also told there isn`t enough room to excavate....well not if yer gonna use a fkf backhoe nimrod! Of course not.

WHAT would have COST her MORE? Inside system or outside from an honest mfr? Hear this SHTTT all the time too, tired of it! Exterior waterproofing/excavation is very expensive etc etc....fk me,blccchht!

Hope to see some in court, sooner the fkg better.

Let the water,let the water in,the water.....in.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4pVw...eature=related
Leave the crack open, let the crack widen, the cracks widen.
Let the bow, let the wall bow in, the wall bow in.
Let the termites, let the termites in, the termites in.
Let the mold, let the mold grow, the mold on walls.
I need lots of alcohol....like gallons.

http://www.ronhazelton.com/projects/...ment-video.htm
Let`s see, Larry says....We don`t stand a CHANCE trying to seal water out.
...........FALSE CLAIM.

Don`t stand a chance keeping water out huh?
The exterior of that wall is NOT waterproofed,at least 1 crack in wall, can`t see corner so dunno if there is a crack there or leaky rod hole(s) etc. Many of these vid`s do not wanna show all problems w/walls, nah, just skip most of that shtt and get right to what THEY do, inside systems.

Don`t stand a chance keeping water out eh.
Hmmm... Capizzo,EOF,Downriver,Stremersch etc have been keeping water OUT for DECADES......ZERO complaints! Give us a break with the blccchtt will ya.

Door? Shtt, its coming in under door `n prolly bottom of door frame.

Put bright-wall-paneling against walls. Says....if the walls do leak water will run down BEHIND paneling.

What about mold growing BEHIND the dumb azz paneling, ya don`t think this can`t/won`t happen? NO possibility of this huh?

What if cracks begin to widen or wall bows in on this house or any house? Nothing like hiding the real-condition of the foundation wall(s).

Crack(s) in wall, rod holes behind bright-wall paneling.....water entering through crack, what else can enter through cracks, rod holes? Insects can and they sure enjoy wet/damp places, exactly what this paneling `n inside system will give ya.

No CHANCE to keep water out huh.

Don`t forget those sump pumps most often have a 1 year warranty and ya better call the manufacturer. Don`t be thinkin` you won`t have to replace em cuz you will...ching ching. http://www.desertdry.com/guarantee_text.htm ...lots of luck.

Don`t stand a chance to keep water out....thats what he says.
Well, here`s poured wall just like Mr Ron`s....we seem to be able to keep fkg water out. http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

And what about block walls, seem to be able to keep water out here too http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

Do these inside guys explain/show ya what can happen to exterior of walls, soil pressure, roots? Nope. They will mention garbage-LIES like... 'Oh, the exterior of walls were waterproof when the house was built, it didn`t work then and won`t work now' ....and....'Oh,exterior waterproofing is very costly and very disruptive to landscaping'. Nothing like more false claims, misrepresentations!

What`s behind yer drywall?
What`s behind the vapor barrier/sheeting the inside guys put up?
http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

3 different homes/basements

1st house....Pics 1-7
Exactly how will any inside drain tile or baseboard system w/sump stop-prevent water from entering? Not gonna happen so mold/mildew/efflorescence can only get worse. What about insects entering through the cracks/wall? Inside system should keep water off the FLOOR where they installed it,about 12-18" or so of floor, but it does SNOT keep water from entering cracks/wall.Lotsa trees/roots on outside of this puppy.
Leave `em there,against walls?

2nd...Pics 8-18
See anything? Put carbon straps up and an inside system? Are ya sure?
Pic 9,10,12. Built wall in front of basement wall, hide N seek.
Kinda important what shape wall(s) are in.

3rd...Pics 19-23
Smells pretty bad here. Some talk about IAQ,indoor air quality.
Wanna redo yer basement eh? And install an inside system?
Well good luck.

Last few pics, different HO gets water coming out chimney chute door, will need some chimney repairs.

Maybe ya have something like this BEHIND drywall,ya don`t know unless you look. http://picasaweb.google.com/bonney11...72370285732450

Please excuse me while i VENT!
Angry? Dang right, people getting stuffed out there man!

Raise and slope the GRADE,extend downspout extensions huh?
Errr maybe MUDJACK a slab ot two eh?
Caulk along the driveway?
All this SHTT will... 'SOLVE' 85-95% of ALL leaky basements eh?
Well...BLLCHHHTTTTT to those who recommend this rookie-nonsense, ain`t done 1 waterproofing job, shut yer pie hole please. If yer gonna RECOMMEND to unknowing HO`s this kinda CRAP without correctly DIAGNOSING the problem(s)...then Ya should get yer azz sued...dang skippy.

Insta Dry,Everdry etc came over to this ladys house....told her sameold song `n dance BLLLCHHHTTTTT that she SUPPOSEDLY has a 'hydrostatic pressure' problem under the floor and....this is why she gets water along wall-floor joint......BLLL fkg SHTT biatches! FRAUD,fraud, fraud fraud fraud!

Estimates ranged from $10,000-15,000 for Inside dkk-me System. http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

Time to start suing incompetent fraudulent companies. Shtt, waaaayyyy overdue! If YOU AIN`T gonna diagnose the REAL REASON(s) why-where water is FIRST entering then you must be held accountable for for your incompetence. Experts? In YOUR dreams.

Pic`s 1,2,3
Is the stupid downspout extension LONG enough for ya?
Is the driveway sloped away?
Homeowner followed ROOKIE-RECOMMENDATION to apply caulk along drive-house.
Did this SHTTT...'SOLVE' the leak? Duh.

Block wall, homeowner ONLY LEAKS....gets water....along wall-floor joint at-near CORNER.....hello?

Why these piece of shtts have to LIE about supposed problem under the floor, there is NO g DAMMMMMMM problem under the STUPID floor!

IF there was.....the first thing ya outta be recommending to HO is to snake thre storm trap cleanout ya BIG DUMB az Inside sales-loser! And if they have sump/pit then snake the stupid tile that empties into pit(check sump too). Ya don`t forget to mention-recommend this and quickly blcchtt `em into an Interior System!!! Well, that is if yer HONEST and competent!

Pic`s 6-10 Ya see UNDER the drive, UNDER caulk....this IS WHY-WHERE water FIRST enters into hollow-blocks!!!!! This IS THE problem, NOT the stuuuupid slope of drive or other myths.Sheeshus K.

Again, many say-think... 'raising-sloping the grade, driveway, extend downspouts etc...SOLVES 85-95% of ALL leaks'.Yer full of CRAP baby.
30 years has PROVEN this....not just to my dumb-azz but also Capizzo, EOF etc. Some won`t listen, don`t wanna learn, ok...fine, have it YOUR WAY...see ya in court when HO gets screwed.

11-17 see any cracks, openings where water will enter? These cracks and gap are NOT VISIBLE on Inside WALL. Wall shows NO cracks....doesn`t fkg matter now does it.

18-19 then........we have some will THINK the exterior drain tiles are somehow the reason why waters enters through wall and shows up inside along wall-floor joint.....blcchtt!!!
Some will say the efflorescence,mold-mildew ya see on bottom of wall is caused by blockage in exterior tiles....NONSENSE.

21,22 hydraulic cement in-over dumb cracks, gap and along first course of bricks because.....there are tiny openings in mortar joints. Even if there wasn`t, bricks and joints below grade need to be protected.

23,24 THICK mastic, asphalt roofing-cement and 6 mil visqueen. Don`t need anything else! All this other CRAP some come up with...blcchttt. Most of it does not 'STICK' to the mastic......this is what`s important. Not some dimpled-membrane that magically relieves soil pressure...BLCCHTT!

25,26.....couple more of GRADE,downspout extension,caulk along drive.
Cost? $975. $975 versus $10,000-15,000

Let me ask ya something.... ....many if not ALL of these weekend Home Improvement Radio shows....they sure tell their listeners how much they SUPPOSEDLY CARE about `em, how honest they are, how they have the VERY BEST CONTRACTORS for....YOU. Well how the fk is this at all possible when Capizzo,Downriver,EOF etc have NEVER been on their shows, have NEVER been called and asked why most basements leak? The REAL reason the contractors they recommend all the time are on the dumb show is because they PAY to be on the dang show, doesn`t at all mean they are the best, most honest...BLCCHHTTTTTTTT!

http://www.tricities.com/tri/news/lo...stadium/10238/

Vid,photos of DeVault basement wall `n corner...resemble these pics? yep yep http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

Problems will be openings above grade and on exterior of block wall, any Inside system will not SOLVE-stop water from entering and will NOT stop/prevent MOLD,efflorescence. An inside system should keep water off the part of basement FLOOR where they`d install it,around 18" or so.

Bet quite a few Inside guys would like to put 'bright wall' up against this wall http://www.basementsystems.com/basem...brightwall.php

If anything, this paneling will hide-conceal further mold, efflorescence and the real-condition of the basement wall (possibility of cracks, cracks widening, bowing)

Basement demo, inside drainage system install http://picasaweb.google.com/Divameem...99265917903858

Whats behind yer drywall? That inside system is NOT gonna stop/prevent water from entering EXTERIOR cracks Diva baby, and so it will not stop yer mold/efflorescence problem. Yeah, just cover those walls back up and nobody will know right? http://picasaweb.google.com/Divameem...99557975680098

http://picasaweb.google.com/Divameem...uctionJuly2007
Dunno if ya got blcchttt`d into this or ya did it on yer own but i would never buy this house, the problems have NOT been SOLVED.
Hmm, will next homeowner have their son, daughter sleeping in basement?
INCOMPETENT Blchhhtt!!!

Inside-system...was another homeowner talked into something they didn`t need? Just because ya have a crack and some leaky rod holes does not mean ya need any stupid inside water-diverting system
http://picasaweb.google.com/tonyrosk...47021932415250

http://picasaweb.google.com/tonyrosk...46902259782482

No problem with water/moisture entering through wall here, are ya sure? http://picasaweb.google.com/dreamwor...25278900652466

http://picasaweb.google.com/dreamwor...25244540914066
Zoom in, see where water is first-entering

Hope yer gonna seal these up,better use hydraulic cement and thick mastic/visqueen http://picasaweb.google.com/thehises...50975172219698

Then ya have those who encapsulate crawlspaces, they don`t-won`t do shtt about stopping/preventing water from entering exterior cracks, gaps. Yep, just cover everything up,maybe put in a sump pump for $5,000-10,000. Its fkg ridiculous. On crawls like this, they would cover this up....cover the wall, cover the floor http://picasaweb.google.com/franimal...26573238972498

lololol what a buncha shtt, breaking out da floor doesn`t do anything for krist sake

All due respect again Mr Henri, you are wrong man
He claims...'flat or negative GRADE is responsible for 99% of basement and crawlspace leakage'.
Up to 99% now!!!!!!
LAST Q/A http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=211253

He says if playing water-diverting games doesn`t solve problem to then consider having a water-collection-system installed on the INSIDE...WHY?
That`s 2 Strikes....yer almost out sir!

Have YET to....DIAGNOSE the actual problem(s)! Since when is a remodeling contractor a freakin waterproofing contractor. Leading people astray is bllcchttt, incompetent.

This lady seems to 'GET SOME OF IT'....why can`t OTHERS?
'Foundation was never sealed nor did it have proper drainage'
http://picasaweb.google.com/kareneri...23351412781938

'Lovely holes in the foundation....wonder why we had water problems' http://picasaweb.google.com/kareneri...25516076300402
Well Karen, if ya listen...heed the advice of some...THEY`LL tell ya yer WATER PROBLEMS are due to the stupid GRADE or downsput extensions!!!!

Please EYEBALL basement wall....below grade, see any PROTECTION on exterior of blocks? Why the fk is there nothing on blocks? City code says its ok in that area? They`ll NEVER freakin learn. If this house was in the fkg DESERT i`d have had it waterproofed when built, dammmm man,why the fk not. Can TERMITES,spiders, centipedes, ants, radon enter walls like this? How much damage do termites do every year? $5-6 BILLION http://www.utoronto.ca/forest/termite/tips8.htm

And hey, as Henri recommends.... to consider having a INSIDE water collection system installed? WTF! Thats great, wonderful, real smart. http://picasaweb.google.com/karenerice/Homeimp

'99%' is the GRADE eh? NONSENSE!
No though-possibilty of EXTERIOR cracks/openings, no possibilty of basement back ups....99% GRADE...well fk me!

Umm one thing Karen,hope ya`s didn`t backfill w/same soil...its yer house.

And a BIG heads up when placing soil along excavated trench.....sheesh!
The added/extra WEIGHT OF THE SOIL can/could CAUSE a CAVE IN but again, its their house.

99% GRADE right? OK, if you say so. But when Capizzo or Downriver or my azz comes around and finds the real reason(s) why the mfr basement was leaking after these dumb azz recommendations caused problem for a seller/buyer then guess who gonna look like a BIG TIME KNOTHEAD? Won`t be us.

Same SHTT different day. Nearly $11,000 for cheap azz INSIDE SYSTEM.
Those who continue to state that Inside Systems cost less than exterior and/or, exterior waterproofing doesn`t work,is very expensive and disruptive to landscaping are misrepresenting this entire subject,FALSE CLAIMS man. http://www.action3news.com/Global/st...&nav=menu550_1

Around 26 second mark you can see at least 1 vertical crack near corner, this crack will look something like this on the OUTSIDE and is where water is FIRST entering http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

Many homeowners will ONLY have a crack(s) on exterior in ONE AREA, it`s all they need to fix/repair. Yet the Inside CHUMPS will blcchtt MANY into a full-perimeter system. Why spend $7,000-$17,000+ for full inside perimeter system that is not/was not needed and doesn`t repair/waterproof exterior cracks `n other openings.

They did NOT find/locate where water is FIRST entering from the outside, there is at least 1 vertical crack near corner....on exterior of block wall, sheesh! This is where water is first entering ya dumb azz. They simply sold her the only they they do or want to do....install an inside system. They don`t want to diagnose the problem(s),don`t want to excavate, probably aren`t insured to do exterior waterproofing and don`t have the necessary experienced laborers to hand dig exterior....wimps.

Sent e-mails to this guy, apparently he knows more about basement waterproofing than we do, than Capizzo,Stremersch,Downriver etc. No reply, not a word lolol. What would it hurt him,Haege etc to talk to us instead of BLINDLY believing/talking to Inside guys...huh? Afraid of something? Maybe he is a good HI etc but that hardly freaking means he is an expert on this-subject....cuz he is NOT, not when he writes stuff like this...LAST Q/A http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a.../1017/BUSINESS

Q) Basement leaks....also need to redo driveway which is where basement leaks, what ta do?
...Instead of saying something like...'Ya need to FIRST determine/locate where water is first entering'.... the answer is
A) Your driveway may be contributing to leaks...driveways that are improperly sloped back towards house are common MAJOR contributors...

Really? Ok, thats YOUR belief. A 'MAJOR' contributor eh?
Wouldn`t be a 'MAJOR POSSIBILITY' that there is a crack(s) on outside or loose-cracked parging or rod hole(s) or openings just below and/or above the driveway like open mortar joints, openings around door or basement windows, nothing like whats in the pictures posted huh?

Hmmmm, Capizzo,Stremersch etc, 30 years of doing job versus...? How many jobs has he done...guaranteed over a long period of time? Exactly what can he/others base this on.....where are the MANY proven RESULTS throughout a LONG period of time? Look at above pic`s....this HO`s driveway slopes away.....she extended the downspout a footballl field away from corner and also caulked along the driveway/house....heeded all the blccchtt recommendations/myths.....still fkg leaked!

Here....poured wall in St Clair Shores, still leaks AFTER pouring a NEW DRIVEWAY....hello? ding ding ding, anyone home....anyone really give a shtt?
http://www2.snapfish.com/thumbnailsh...6/t_=122238283

Pic`s 1-4
Is the NEW driveway pitched-SLOPED AWAY enough for ya?
Did it or did it not, stop water from entering? Yes or no.
And so, who NOW is RESPONSIBLE?
Who got talked into pouring new driveway? That it would solve leak.
Who recommended new driveway....huh?

Back to the rest of Mr G`s answer/recommendation....
He says....check out waterproofing contractors, many do repairs from inside!
LOLOL Yeah, many do repairs from inside alright, it is NOT 'WATERPROOFING'!!!!
Hey Mr G, you ever consider that all they may need is to waterproof exterior cracks, waterproof that 1 drive-side wall, cost about $2,700-3,200...depends on linear footage `n depth. Thats around $3,000 versus having an inside system installed and guess what, most of these inside companies will talk homeowners into full perimeter system...cost between $7,000-17,000. Ya see what they charged hearing impaired lady in above story....$11,000.

And maybe they ONLY have 1 crack at/near corner...would cost $950 ish.
And maybe they are getting water that first enters through bsmt windows, around door etc. Seems to me Mr G is LEANS towars these Inside systems/companies.

Adam Helfman WRIF radio takes the TIME to listen, reads the links we send him, looks at the freaking pics/jobs we send him...why the shtt can`t this guy, Haege,T Carter and tons of others? Afraid that what you been saying, telling homeowners for years is mostly wrong? Have it your way. http://www.jeremypost.com/ding%2Dfries%2Dare%2Ddone/
