I see no reason for the cut truss to be there in the first place.
Is there something I can't see in the PIC?

It was quite odd.

After seeing the cut truss I looked around, as it seemed like it was "extra" since the spacing was about 8". Why would the add an extra truss, which they would cut anyways?

Then I noticed that the other truss placements were not 12"OC nor 16"OC nor 24"OC. The spacing was varried between all of them.

Did I mention that the roof sagged?
