Inspection Education & Training This is a general forum for inspectors to discuss their educational experience, and to ask questions of InterNACHI's Education Committee. This forum is dedicated to the memory of InterNACHI member and educator Gerry Beaumont. Gerry was an avid proponent of education for inspectors and will be sorely missed.

Default AHIT Study Guide

Anyone have experience with the AHIT home inspector exam study guide?
It's my understanding this is a good guide to study before taking the NHIE?

From what I understand, Roy Newcomer helped in the creation of the NHIE so the study guide would be of value. From a practical standpoint, it is helpful.

Vince,

Yes, I review the AHIT material and took the NACHI exam just before taking the NHIE exam and passed with no problem.

Vince, I purchased a set of these on Ebay, they are a decent reference for basic stuff an inspector needs to look at. Look on Ebay. I bought them after I had to take that test, but they should suit that need well from a test preparation standpoint I think.
