Hello fellow students, I am posting my discussion on attic access. While doing my mock inspection on the attic access I observed a couple of things. Firstly the access was not 20" in width, there was also no weather stripping or insulation for the entry door. It was however easily accessible. Three out of four points as per the code which need correction. This is according to the library of online articles related to attic access.
Yeah, well look at this. It’s a good thing I’m not husky. I squeezed into this because I try to do the best job for my client.
And yes, that’s 12 inches.

Attic entrance is undersize Recommend it be gasketed to stop air leak and add insulation to door .
