| Inspection Education & Training This is a general forum for inspectors to discuss their educational experience, and to ask questions of InterNACHI's Education Committee. This forum is dedicated to the memory of InterNACHI member and educator Gerry Beaumont. Gerry was an avid proponent of education for inspectors and will be sorely missed. |

I routinely come across some good books that I refer to, as well as to continue my education. The book below is a great reference for any new inspector or the seasoned ones as well.
Most of todays inspector training books tell you what to look for. But many lack the "meat" of the building trades itself. So in many cases inspectors only learn what's wrong and not why it's wrong and what to do to remedy it. This book is great for explaining the many aspects of carpentry and building. Here at Amazon |
