How much of a discount is it?

How much does it cost to join ASHI?

blah, blah, blah, my org's better than yours. man this never gets old....
one thing is for sure, people who "got in under the wire" and who don't have the requisite experience, should be honest enough to not market themselves as Masters. To do so only brings our whole profession down. And for those without that sense of honor, NACHI (excuse me CMI) should revoke the previously issued certificate.
Even though I feel I'm a better inspector than many ASHI members because of my past experience and general knowledge, I do not qualify as a member. I guess orgs need to make some general guidelines, but to have an arbitrary number of inspections isn't all telling. Peer reviewed inspections is one method for judging one's mastery and should be part of attaining any supreme title.
